The good- two great tries. The bad- not getting to grips with the Ashby forwards. The ugly -the pitch

The seconds were beaten by the weather and a more determined Ashby forward display in the second half. Without doubt the coldest outing of the season so far.

Harborough played into the fierce wind, rain, hail, thunder and lightning and scored a well worked try by Aaron Lyle who bulldozed over in typical manner. Harborough still went in at half time 12-5 down

Harborough started brightly with a lovely solo try by Harris Medwell from 30 yards out and danced under the posts to be converted by Henry Davis.

The weather paid its toll on the pitch, which collapsed and turned into a quagmire. This allowed the Ashby forwards to take advantage of Harborough errors and gain a stranglehold on the game. An Ashby try and penalty completed a disappointing loss for Harborough who should have used the conditions more in the second half.
