Harborough Colts visited table topping Oadby Wyggs and came away with a nine try demolition to win 53-8. There were tries at regular intervals with Timmy Waterfield scoring the first through a catch and drive at the line out and the second came in the same way through Henry Moss. With the Harborough forwards dominant, scrum half, Finlay Clarke was able to pick up and storm through a crowd of players and from the kick off powerful running by Jon Mundy and Laurence Joel saw Joel touch down. Wyggs struck back with a try and a penalty but a fifth try before half time following a barnstorming run by George Thornton and 2 conversions by Jake Noble saw Harborough lead 29 -8 at the break. Tempers had become frayed however and just before the break there were 3 yellow cards, two for Harborough and one for Wyggs. This seemed to have little impact on Harborough who brought on all their subs and managed 4 more tries through Ed Parker, Jack Williams, Harvey Slade and a second for Joel. Noble and Joel converted one each to secure a convincing victory for the men in black with a huge contribution from man of the match, big Jayk Dressler.
