The menaces were in a mischievous mood........................
Following the earlier training sessions in the 2015 calender the menaces must have absorbed the defensive plays in this fixture. Superb tagging and pressure helped lead MHRUFCU8 to a 3-0 game win on foreign territory at KTRUFC, keeping a good start to the season.
Game 1, some super individual plays and a really good all round team effort achieved the win for Market Harborough. This first game was the best defensive play seen that even England players would have been proud of with Teagan Beaufoy leading the line, with also 2 good individual tries. Joab Tiney also had a good solo effort to take the lead for MH. Good tagging and pressure on the ball led to a well deserved win.
Game 2 was a different affair, Kettering were passing the ball well and exposing the MHU8's defence with their quick thinking and determination. Following some all black grit and great support play by Rhys led to Daniel Weston picking up some spectacular tries and tagging to get another win for Market Harborough.
The final match was a close affair, Kettering putting pressure on early with some good tries to see the haribo hangover showing in all players, trick or treat night exhaustion was present. There was some good running down the flanks which led to some good attacking play and a try flurry turned the game around with a close win for MH, coming from behind.
