Harborough Under 15s girls get their season off to a flying start

Market Harborough U15 Girls travelled to Leamington, who had joined up with Lutterworth to cluster in this season’s club Cup. It was great to see so many girls making the journey and a warm welcome to all those who were making their debut for Harborough (Lucy-May Burman, Ruby Evans, Hannah Shakespeare, Olivia Perrin, Fran Brimm, Lucia Norfolk & Sophie Grahamslaw).

In the first half, Harborough showed their experience with their strong running and sniping breaks – tries coming from Olivia (2), Phoebe Andrews, Tahei Baikeinuku, Sabine Brewster, Cassie Holyoak & Hannah West. Conversions were added by Hannah West (2) and Olivia Perrin. Half Time score 41-0.

In the second half, the girls focussed more on their off-loading and it was really pleasing to see far more of a team effort as a result. Tries were scored by Tahei (2), Sabine, Phoebe, Lucia and Olivia which she was able to convert herself, making the Final Score 73-0.
