Bike
A two lap (112mile), anti-clockwise bike course is next. The course heads North from Pennington Flash to Bolton. New for 2019, bikes will pass Transition 2 at Queens Park and ride alongside the run course through Bolton Town Centre. The bike course then travels East towards Bury, before heading North through Ramsbottom where the scenic, undulating ride really starts. The course continues through the breathtaking countryside before heading down the famous Sheephouse Lane, through Rivington, down Chorley New Road and back to Queens Park for Lap 2.

Run
From T2, the run course will lap around Bolton town centre before ascending through the scenic Queen’s Park to Chorley New Road. Athletes will then pass numerous spectator hotspots along the out and back leg of Chorley New Road before descending past the lakes and rose gardens of Queen’s Park to return to the town centre. The Run Course will total 4 anti-clockwise laps with a total climb of 315 metres before finishing at Victoria Square.
