On the last weekend in July, Marlborough goes back to a time when it was at war with the Monarchy during the English Civil War. The Town was a Parliamentary stronghold and the events which enfolded on those two days will be brought back to life.
The Common will host the cavalry and artillery displays during the mornings, prior to the main battle which will be held in the afternoons. There will also be living history displays in Priory Gardens giving a glimpse of life in the 17th Century.
So why not pop along and support your army and see history as it was made all those years ago.
