Sheila's Thoughts

Where do I start, it has been a season like no other, from starting playing back in October to having to isolate, to back to playing and then for it all to be cancelled, then to restart again in May and play 10 weeks on the trot. To say it has been manic is an understatement, but true to style the Marshalls family have worked together. Some weeks it has been tough getting enough players to play, thank you Sarah Ana Maynard for sorting it all out, and suffering injuries that saw girls have to finish playing for this short season, get well soon girls. I have had the pleasure to come over and watch teams play, we have had wins and losses but the nicest thing of all was to watch you all encourage one another and help one another along the way. Thank you to all our wonderful umpires for umpiring our games, without you we would not be able to play. Also thanks to our lovely coaches for being at training to teach you, but to also be with you at each game, encouraging you to do your best, Charlotte King, Bethany Hawkins, Emma Baldino, Aiofe Moloney, Shauna Butterworth and Sarah Ana Maynard, Marshalls thanks you. I must not forget all the parents, husbands and partners who have watched and helped from the sidelines. Thanks to Kirsty Herbert, and Sarah Ana Maynard who have during the year kept the club together. It is a pleasure as always to be part of this fantastic Marshalls family, enjoy your break everyone and I look forward to seeing you all in September. — feeling blessed
