Our U7, U8 and U10 youth coaches alongside the vice chairman and CS Coordinator under went vital AED/CPR training on the 23rd October, when Drew Kamphuis from First for Safety visited the club. The coaches got fully involved in the interactive training and throughly enjoyed the evening, although they all stated that they hoped that they never had to put it to use.
The three coaches will all be getting Emergency Aid trained on their FA coaching courses in January, but, strangely enough AED training is not incorporated into the course, so the club felt that an additional in-house training event would be useful as we have an AED on the premises.
