After what seems like an eternity waiting for the rfu to decide our fate, it was a delight to hear the news that we have indeed been promoted back to Somerset 2 south. Everyone connected to this great club should be enormously proud of their efforts these past two years as we have started the rebuilding process of getting Martock rfc back on track. Nobody can say that we don't deserve to be playing at a higher level and we should take a moment to pat ourselves on the back for this achievement. However, what we mustn't do now is think the job is done, this is only the first faze of our re-generation and we have to work harder than ever to first of all make sure we never go back to where we have come from and also strive to reach the next level. There is no reason why we can't, we just have to believe in ourselves. But, for the next few weeks we can bask in the glory of knowing we were all part of a fantastic squad and we deserve our reward of promotion. Lets see as many of you as possible at the AGM on 20th May and then we begin the hard work for next seasons challenge.
