Maryfield United have added the powerful 6ft 2 defender Amechi Mere to their already strong squad and will bring a physical presence to the squad.

Mere who was a double league and cup winner in the 2017 and 2018 season with Celtic Boys will bring that hunger and experience gained winning trophies to the team .

Mere had the last season and a half with DUSC and recently played in the final round of the DDYFA Trials.
Mere will wear the no 22 squad number and will make his debut away to Arbroath on Sunday 2nd February 2020. We would all like to wish Amechi and family the best of luck at Maryfield United.
