Under 12’s
U12s travelled to the idyllic surroundings of Huddersfield RUFC. For what turned out to be one of our most physical games of the season. Huddersfield started strong going 6-2 up. Catching us by surprise with the physicality and hard running. Our heads looked like they may drop as half time arrived, but this U12s team showed everyone today the fire in their belly's and now with the travelling support getting behind every small win the game began to swing after soaking up wave of attacks in the first half Matlock pushed back playing the second half in our opponents territory. Only conceding 2 tries and scoring 5 in a row in a truly enthralling game played in great spirit. It ended

U13 won 7-5 against long Eaton - a close game which could have gone either way but the boys stuck it out, a real squad performance!
