When we came back after Covid the focus was to ensure the seniors survived and look to build on the seniors, setup a mini section and build a new club house to ensure the future of the club.

Last year seniors finished 5th in Counties 1 Essex, we had an Under 7's and Under 8’s and are at complex final stages of applying for a new clubhouse.

Having said this I don’t believe the club have the ambition to keep growing as very often I have felt alone in driving all 3 of these aspects and unless we get more volunteers who are accountable to drive these 3 things we will fail as I do not have the time to continue doing what I have, run my company and support my family.

We agreed at the meeting that the way forward was not for the committee to agree, especially as not a single player committee member was there and we would hold a meeting on Sat 30th November at 11am to vote on how we move forward.

The options as I see them are:
1. Move to another club where there are already teams established at mini, youth, senior and a club house.
2. Put on hold all 3 expansion plans so no new clubhouse, 2nd senior team or mini push.
3. Get more volunteers and prioritise 1,2 or 3 of above, we need individuals who will be accountable and drive these items and step up on the day.
