Expectations not Achieved

Unfortunately this was a disappointing season as the team struggled in Division 2 finishing second to bottom and managing just four League wins. Although some players had been lost before the season started, these these had been replaced and, in theory, the squad should have been stronger as a result. However, player availability continued to be inconsistent and the team failed to score enough goals when on top in games so losing matches that they should really have won.
 
As the League was expected to reduce to just two divisions for 2018-2019 the Club would remain in Division 2 but new players would be needed if a higher finish was going to be achieved..
