Wheelchair Rugby League Returned to Medway Park in great style on Wednesday as the Dragons Re-Launched with Our Friends

Medway Dragons re-launched Wheelchair Rugby League at Medway Park on Wednesday when the team was re-constituted with help from our friends from Gravesend and Dartford who came and joined the party

We dusted off the gear and after a quick warm up got into playing our game again, at the Home of Wheelchair Rugby League

Dragons Head Coach martin Coyd said "I couldn't have asked for a better start. We had a perfect mix of Juniors, Seniors, Novices and Internationals, players of all abilities working hard, showing some great skill and playing with big smiles. Male and female, across the age range and all with a common goal of enjoying a great sport'

"It was great to welcome back some old players, Ben Richardson for example, who has been playing murderball and has come back with some enhanced skills. He was playing at Pivot tonight and made some great plays for the edges outside him'

'We have some very exciting developments coming soon and we can hardly wait to see what we can achieve this year. Medway Dragons was a great Wheelchair Club we will repair the damage, provide opportunities for all and get back to where we should be'
