Medway dragons travelled to South London on Saturday to participate in the first Rugby League matches in Community Rugby league this year. The Global Pandemic has meant that fixtures stopped and training was done in a Covid Secure way.

The Festival featured Brixton Bulls, Eastern Rhinos, London Skolars and Medway Dragons, each playing four games to get the maximum game time.

Dragons Head Coach Martin Coyd said 'It was wonderful for us all to be here today, playing Rugby league on a dry track and putting all of the skills into practice. Our players have turned up week in, week out through the summer and have worked very hard at improving'

'I was thrilled with the commitment and courage today, playing against bigger teams, not one of our players took a backward step and contributed towards an outstanding defensive effort. we weren't bad in attack either'
