Tim Blackmore and Oliver Steels were both in fine form as they made light work of any loose ball from a succession of Stockton bowlers - the two batted out the 18 overs - Steels finishing on 84* and Blackmore 36*. In reply George Baty took a first ball wicket of dangerman Rich Kerrison thanks to a catch by Harry Collins.Gowda made 3 before baing caught by Collins off the bowling of Robin Miller to put Stockton on 2 for 7. Tom Hodgson made a decent 40 before being caught and bowled by Collins. Of the remaining batsmen only Jamie Kerrison provided any threat but no one could reamin at the crease with him as Collins went on the bowl two further batsman. Kerrison finished the innings on 47*. Collins posting figures of 3 for 15, Baty 1 for 17, Miller 1 for 22 as Melbourne won the match by 20 runs
