Heworth lost early wickets with the second ball from Brian Underwood, followed up by another in his next over to dismiss Leetham and Knott, Leetham clean bowled and Knott caught by Scott Coupland to put Heworth on a concerning 7-2. A 26 run partnership between Bradshaw and Armstrong looked strong however Beadshaw was bowled by James Kirby after making 15 in the 8th over. Rymer had made 4 when he was bowled by Scott Coupland in the 10th over. Armstrong was joined by Phil 'lets go' Holland and the two made the most of any loose ball as they added a further 44 to the board before Holland was bowled by S Coupland on the final ball of the innings after making a good 25. Armstrong finished on 32*. Heworth posting 85-5 from their 16 overs.

In reply Melbourne lost Tim Blackmore [9] in the 4th over when he was bowled by Gartland however a good partnership between Oliver Steels and Harry Collins added a further 47 runs to the board before Collins was bowled by Slade after making 23. Oliver Steels was joined by Ben Thompson and the two ensured victory for Melbourne with a boundary from Steels in the 15th over. Steels finishing on 40* and Thompson on 7*
