Stockton & Hopgrove 175-10. Melbourne 176-6. Melbourne won by 4 wickets

Melbourne travelled to Stockton & Hopgrove with revenge in mind after Stockton mauled them in the recent Cup game. Harry Collins & Si Houlder bowled tight and Stockton lost the wicket of Rich Kerrison [27] who was caught by keeper Matt Beevers off the bowling of Collins in the 10th over. Robin Miller claimed the wicket of Leetham the following over thanks to a catch by Oliver Steels to put Stockton on 40-2. Jamie Kerrison joined Steve Fraser and looked strong, the two added a further 40 to the board before Kerrison [34] was caught and bowled by Collins in the 21st over. Tom Williams joined Fraser and the two added a further 33 before Williams [24] was bowled by Miller in the 29th over. Kalum Perera looked strong and hit 5 boundaries in one over before being run out when the board was on 154. Upal became Collins 3rd victim when he was out lbw for a golden duck. Melbourne kepy rotating their bowlers and Houlder took the wicket of Gonzalves thanks to a catch by Collins. Opener Steve Fraser was finally dismissed in the 38th over having made 41 when he was caught and bowled by Collins and Tyler [0] became Collins 5th victim of the day when he was bowled by him in the same over. Matt Bradshaw and Dan Fairclough added a further 19 to the board in the last 2 overs before Fairclough [10] was run out. Bradshaw finished on 9 not out. Stiockton posting 175.

In reply Melbourne lost the early wicket of Liam Barlow [2] who was caught off the bowling of Fairclough in the 2nd over. However a 56 run partnership between Harry Collins and Ben Thompson took the board to 59 before Collins [17] was bowled by Tyler in the 18th over. Thompson and Oliver Steels looked like they were going places but Steels [12] was also bowled by Tyler in the 22nd over. Thompson and Dave Coe added a further 48 to the board before Coe [16] was also bowled by Tyler in the 32nd over and Thompson after making a good 43 was dismissed the same way the following over to become Tylers 4th victim. Matt Beevers was joined by Alex Barlow who failed to score when he was bowled by Bradshaw however new signing James Coupland joined Beevers and the two looked for any loose ball from Stockton. Beevers was in form the two knocked off the required runs with 7 balls to spare. Beevers finished on 60 not out and Coupland on 10 not out to bring Melbourne a much deserved win. Melbourne posting 176-6
