Fulfordgate 134, Melbourne 140-6. Melbourne won by 4 wickets

Melbourne captain Harry Collins won the toss and put Fulfordgate in to bat in this the final league game of 2015. Fulfordgate looking for a win to see them remain in Division 1 got off to a steady start and had 35 on the board in the 7th over when J Lehury [10] was bowled by Collins. A Baldock made 34 before he was out lbw off the bowling of Ben Thompson in the 13th over. Thompson took another wicket in his 3rd over - that of D Baldock who had made 9 before being bowled and a further wicket when L Hancy [14[ was caught by Liam Barlow in the 21st over. Collins returned to the bowling scene for a second spell which resulted in Craddock [15] being bowled. However Henderson and M Hancy looked settled and added another 30 runs over the next 8 overs before Collins returned for his 3rd spell and decimated the Fulfordgate tail end. Over the next 15 balls Collins wiped out the Fulfordgate middle and lower order as no runs were conceeded and 5 wickets were taken - Henderson [15] bowled, M Nelson bowled, S Nelson and J Nelson lbw & D Kitching facing a hatrick ball who was also bowled to return Collins figures of 10.3-4-20-7. M Hancy finshed on 17*. Fulfordgate totalling 134 from 36 overs.

In reply Melbourne lost a first over wicket when James Coupland [4] was out lbw off the bowling of D Baldock. Ian Kirby made 12 before falling to a good catch by L Hancy off the bowling of Lehruy. Tim Blackmore was joined by fresh off a plane Oliver Steels and the 2 added a further 13 before Blackmore [14] was caught by the keeper M Nelson off the bowling of Lehruy in the 12th over. Ben Thompson made 11 before he was bowled in Baldock in the 15th over. Melbourne were put on 55-5 when Steels [4] was caught by Craddock off the bowling of Baldock in the 17th over. With Liam Barlow and Brian Underwood at the crease another 19 were added before Underwood [1] was caught by father and son combination Alan & David Baldock in the 19th over to put Melbourne on 74-6. The next 7 overs saw Liam Barlow and Harry Collins play some remarkable shots as they despatched any loose ball to double the Melbourne score and gain victory for the club in the 26th over. Collins hitting a winning 6 to for Barlow to finish on an excellent 48* and Collins on 26.
