Melbourne 87-7. Dunnington 88-2

Melbourne openers Tim Blackmore and Si Houlder struugled against the Dunnington Academy opening bowler and managed just 15 runs off the first 5 overs before Houlder was caught by J Tattersall off the bowling og Gray having made 5. Freddie Collins joined Blackmore but Blackmore [11] was also caught by J Tattersall this time off the bowling of J Andrew in the 9th over. Freddie Collins added a much needed 28 to the score before being bowled by Andrew in the 13th over. Melbourne then lost wickets at regular intervals with Ben Thompson [8] caught, Liam Barlow [14] bowled by S Tattersall, James Coupland [9] caught & Nick Eastoe bowled by Andrew to finish the 18 overs with Dave Coe on 3* and Scott Coupland 2*, Melbourne totalling 87.
Dunnington bowling: J Andrew 4-0-20-4, S Tattersall 4-0-24-2
In reply Alex Barlow picked up the wickets of Ashcroft [9] who was out lbw and Sam Blain who was caught by Dave Coe but D Andrews [53*] and Harrison Mussell [21*] were in form and knocked off the required runs in the 14th over.
