Mellish played new opponents on Sunday from Leicester, called Stoneygate.
Playing against a much bigger, more physical team, Mellish were taught a lesson on how to play the game at a far higher level than what they have been used to, to date.
Being 58 - nil down at HT, the boys had the chance to stop the game due to the obvious gap. However to their credit, they agreed to play on for the 2nd half.
The 2nd half replayed the first in terms of possession & score, going down 102 to nil.
Lesson learn't!
The boys will remember getting a similar lesson against Nottingham at a similar time last year...and we know how the season finished ......
Focus now is on having a strong rest of season & hopefully repeating the trend of 2010?
