Code of Conduct


  • Play to the best of your ability and within the spirit of the game.
  • Respect the coaches, officials and opposition at all times.
  • Show commitment including reliability and punctuality at training and matches.
  • Show self-discipline in terms of language and behaviour at training and matches.
  • Correct kit and footwear to be worn at all times.
  • No arguing with officials or the opposition’s players, supporters or coaches.
  • For practical training sessions and matches listen to all instruction and take note of safety issues at all times. Respect the facility and leave it how you found it.
  • At all sessions or matches players will not make racist, homophobic, sexist, or expletive remarks to other players, coaches or officials. Anyone found guilty of this will be subject to disciplinary action.
  • Any player who feels threatened, intimidated, bullied or discriminated against should report this to the Coach or Committee member as soon as possible.
  • Respect equipment used e.g. club gear, goals, chairs on and off the field.
  • If food or drink is taken in changing rooms or pitch side – rubbish must be put in appropriate bins and NONE must be left behind.
  • All players that are not able to train or play MUST let the Coach or Captain know as soon as possible via text, email or phone prior to the session.
  • Inform the Manager/Coach as soon as possible of any changes in medical condition or contact details.
  • Remember at all times who you are representing and the standard of behaviour required.
  • Understand that should there be a serious breach of the code of conduct, club rules may require sanctions to be applied.
  • Be prepared to learn, improve and enjoy the game and your time within the club.
