It is with deep sadness for everyone at Mellor Lacrosse Club to learn that Amy Whitehead passed away peacefully, and at home with her Mum and Dad in the early hours of Saturday 16th March.

Amy fought her battle with Cancer like a lion and will be remembered by everyone associated to Mellor Lacrosse Club for her resilience and kindness.

Our Number 1 fan, always at the Cage and an avid follower of our games she will be sorely missed by us all.

Chris and Anna have asked that we keep her in our memories and wish for as many people as possible to attend Amy’s funeral at Mellor Church once arranged.

The club will now push forward with our plans to create a lasting legacy to Amy with the development of the Amy Whitehead Shooting Cage

For now, our thoughts are with Amy’s family
