U11's on Top Form at Brooklands

A great day at Brooklands with the Under 11 Girls being in superb winning form!

Mellor were on the attack right from the start with an immediate shot on goal from Amelie. The girls kept the pressure on throughout the first half with a relentless attack on Brookland's goal initially led by Amelie (4 goals) and Alice W with powerful play from Eve resulting in a further two goals. Brooklands had a number of good players who managed to push forward but Katie and Alice T managed to hold them back and half time score was 8:3 to Mellor.

The second half saw a continuation of great team work and attacking play. Jasmine and Alice T stood their ground in defence and Leia made some good runs and passes which really stretched Brooklands defence. Brooklands were a player down so borrowed Jasmine for the first half followed by Katie for the second half. Brooklands played well and managed to score another three goals but the punishing attack from Alice W, Amelie and Eve resulted in another 12 goals in the second half leaving the final score 20:6.
