Under 14s continue their good start to the season

First quarter was fairly even as the boys got used to the reduced numbers, however we still ended up leading 4 2 at the break. From then on we just got better and better and totally dominated the game as Charlie and Cam cut through the Stockport defence at will. It would have been plenty more if it hadn’t been for the Stockport keeper, #23, who played extremely well. It was 9 - 3 at half time and we were in cruise control as coach Ollie swapped players around for the second half.

Excellent defending from Henry and Ollie at the back shut out Stockport in the second half but we only scored four as their keeper continued to have a stormer of a game - we should sign him up ! 13 - 3 at the final whistle and a job well done. Cam and Charlie got 11 between them with one for Daniel and Miles (who went in net for the second half and had very little to do ). Truth be told our score count should have been higher and some of team could do with a bit more shooting practice, but credit to the oppo keeper.
