Timperley - Toughest Match So Far

It was always going to be a tough match against Timperley and playing 10 a side with no subs against a strong Timperley team of 18 made it even tougher.

Timperley opened the scoring and we followed, matching Timperley goal for goal until finally pulling ahead, leading 8:4 at the end of the second half. A brilliant third quarter resulted in a 12:9 lead but Timperley fought back hard, and scored 3 in the final quarter. Both teams battled it out to the final whistle - a 12:12 draw.

There was no individual Player of the Match this week - the whole team ran and played till they were exhausted and never stopped fighting to win. An amazing team performance!! Brilliant goalie Liv made 12 saves. Goals scored by Amelie (1), Eve (2), Millie (4) and Alice W (5). Huge thanks to Elise who stepped in last minute so that we could play with 10 mellor girls and who played her first full u13s match today.
