Third win in a row for U13s

Today saw our first match of the season at Mellor and our first match against a new Rochdale girls team.

Rochdale scored the opening goal within minutes which was enough to shake up the Mellor team and get them playing what was probably their best lacrosse so far this season. Eve quickly scored the equaliser and Mellor stretched ahead to end the first half 7:1 to Mellor.

Q3 saw a further goal from Rochdale and one from Mellor, but Mellor really pulled away in Q4 leaving the final score 12:2 to Mellor.

Rochdale were a good side but the excellent defending by Mellor plus 4 great saves by Lola had a big impact today.
