Another league win for the u13s

With only two league matches to go and an unbeaten league record, Mellor were keen to secure a win at Stockport. The first half however saw two very evenly matched teams. Stockport had some excellent players and their Goalie made a number of really great saves. Mellor opened the scoring, but Stockport were quick to reply with the first quarter ending 2:1 to Mellor and the second quarter ending 5:4 to Mellor.

The game was really won in the second half. Stockport’s key players began to tire and Mellor managed to keep pushing on. The third quarter saw a further 5 goals from Mellor and the fourth quarter saw the win secured with a further 4 goals. Stockport continued to fight and scored one further goal to end the match 14:5 to Mellor.
