Menai Bridge Tigers will be hoping it is third time lucky this weekend as they welcome Nefyn United to Treborth.
This fixture has suffered two postponements; first in January when all league fixtures were off due to coronavirus, and later in February due to the weather.
These sides have faced each other twice already this season, with two visits to Cae'r Delyn ending in defeat for Menai Bridge. The first came in the league way back in August, and the latter just last weekend as a depleted Tigers side were eliminated from the League Cup.
Tigers will be confident of avenging those results at home, and their North Wales Coast (West) Premier form is among the best in the division. Unbeaten in the league since late September, Aaron Rowlands's team have won nine of their last eleven league matches, with points dropped in away draws at Mynydd Llandegai and Pwllheli.
Nefyn sit third in the table, albeit just a point ahead of Penrhyndeudraeth who have three games in hand. At this stage of the season in a competitive league, Y Penwaig may be happier to have the points on the board.
Menai Bridge are in sixth place, just four points behind Nefyn; this match could therefore be considered "a six-pointer". A win for Tigers would be hugely important for their season, and aspirations of the top five.
Tigers travel to Llanberis next weekend, with Y Darans currently breathing down their necks. Just three points separate the sides and Llanberis have three games in hand, therefore a victory against Nefyn would ease some pressure going into that fixture.
Our fortnightly Three Letter Lotto will be drawn at The Bulkeley Arms following the match.
