Lucas has been associated with the Met for a long time but we could all see what a good player he was whilst playing in the U18’s last season, credit must go to Donovan and Paul for the progress he made during that time.
At the start of this season at 17 Lucas became part of the 1st team squad. He took on the role of a modern centre-back, the progress he has made since making the step up can’t be understated. He’s worked hard at his game, I’m not surprised he has made this significant step.
