A late penalty the Blues a place in the next round of the FA Trophy

After an emotional ceremony to remember the lives of those who died in war, the visitors in all green kicked this trophy game off.

The visitors came to great chance early on as a lobbed pass met the feet of White who chipped the keeper but just wide.

The green shirts had advantage before half time as Joe White took his time to perform a composed finish from a rebound.

The visitors became dominant with their movement and football, giving the blues no chances to pull through.

Half time: Met police 0-1 Biggleswade Town

The home side were quick to draw themselves level after the tricky feet of Hamilton saw his cross meet the stretched foot of Mazzone to put the ball high into the net.

Blues dismissed another chance as a corner saw Arthur direct his header wide.

The wet weather played an advantage to the Met as Hamilton once again boxed the ball but Smith slipped on the ground giving Knight an easy chance to bury Donkin.

The visiting side saw their way back in after a push from Arthur in the area saw Brookes send Forster the wrong way from the spot.
