Hartley claimed a well-deserved goal through the skilled feet of substitute Rule who beat Robinson in the box to slot the ball in the area beyond Burns.
The visitors kept the blues on their feet after a close effort from Paget who came inches close to a second after an n effort from twenty yards out.
The home side expressed frustration with unnecessary fouls in their half.
