After a prolonged break, it was a second half to forget for the Blues

A blues side welcomed old friends Harrow Borough to imber court where they look to get back in to action after a two week period of February weather.

An early lead was grasped by an inform blues side after Birch latched onto Knights cross from a corner and buried the ball in the roof of the net with his head.

The visitors began to involve themselves since conceding but could not get round a dominant blues defence.

Half time: Met police 1-0 Harrow Borough

The visitors started the second half brightly with a few chances, but finally got themselves back into the game after a through ball lead to a scrap inside the area that was put home by Matthew.

The home side almost regained the lead after a delivery by Scorey met Knight at the far post who forced Tobin to blast the ball away with his feet.

After a tough battle the visitors came on top after substitute Otedeko struck the ball with power in the bottom corner just after muscling Fisher off the ball.

The blues sent ten in the box to try and get anything in injury time, but ended in disaster as Knights corner was cleared to Bryan who was able to thread Ive through on his own who calmly slotted past Forster.
