A thrilling Tuesday evening at Imber Court saw 2 red card and 7 goals...

Another very entertaining game for Met fans with Gavin making a number of changes as the games come thick and fast.

The sign of things to come was signalled in the first minute when Sam de St Croix crashed a drive against the bar. With both teams playing at very high tempo it was certain that something would give and did so on 15 minutes when Zack Chislett slid a deft pass to put Jack Mazzone through to open the score with a crisp finish. Just 3 minutes later Met were 2 up after a cross from St Croix was nodded home by Ollie Knight. As Met continued the pressure on 32 minutes Luke Robertson was brought down in the area for Mazzone to step up to score a third from the resulting penalty.
The game looked as if it would change significantly when 5 minutes before half time Louis Birch was sent off for what the referee determined to be a dangerous tackle. The visitors then had their best spell with Met defence under great pressure.

The second half saw Met forced into a rear guard action as Harrow made full advantage of their extra man and looking far more determined with the introduction of two substitutes. Rhys Forster made a stunning save as Harrow pressed home their advantage but on 55 minutes a rash retaliatory act by Chinua Cole saw the Harrow defender sent off for violent conduct which sparked a melee among players before the referee could restore peace.
The game became very open with 10 a side and on 63 minutes Max Blackmore put the game beyond doubt when put through by Luke Robertson to make it 4-0. To their credit Harrow continued to compete and pulled one back through a penalty converted by Keita followed shortly after by Mazzone completing his hat trick by heading home a delightful cross from Ollie Knight. The scoring and the game finished with Marc Charles-Smith turning in a chance from close range after a scramble in front of the Met goal giving some consolation with a final score of 5-2.
