Cors started brightly against the league Leaders at The Strand, chances falling to both sides but the Cors edged the first half when man of the match Craig Edmondson beat the Askam defenders and Headed home a Lee McNeil Free kick in the 41st Minute of the half.

The second half started just like it did away to Askam with Askam coming out strongly and it took only 2 minutes to get back into the game when Callum Raynor collected the ball and ran accross Lee McNeil and Adam Bell to beat Adam Hornby to level the Score on 47 minutes.

The remainder of the match became a very entertaining match with both sides having clear cut chances only to be saved by each opposing keeper. Cors Mike Packham hit the Askam crossbar from a header and Ryan Close hitting a chance over the Askam Bar.
Both midfields worked tirelessly to try and give the forwards chances to find the match winner with Corinthians getting on top in the last 25 mins streaming forward constantly.

In the 90+2 minutes Askam gained the advantage with a counter attack when Declan Bowman slotted the ball
into the net. But Cors found the equaliser seconds after when Dave Leinweber latched on to a missed sliced clearance from Askams Callum Raynor to fire the ball home in the 93rd minute for a well deserved draw.
