Korfball is back! Come and try the world's greatest mixed team sport (vaguely similar to netball/basketball but with our own set of rules)

Since outdoor sport will be allowed again from 29th March 2021, we are restarting at the start of April and looking for lots of new players. We will explain the rules if you don't know them! It's great for fitness, fun and meeting new people. Everyone is welcome of all skill/fitness levels including absolute beginners!

Sessions will once again be at Sport Central in Central Milton Keynes near the train station, every Thursday from 6-7pm. Ourselves, and MK Lakers Korfball Club, who we are training together with this season, will be looking at adding at least one other day or time from mid-May - which could even be indoors if this is allowed and there is demand - so if you can't make the Thursday 6-7pm session but want to find out about future sessions, just get in touch and we'll keep you posted.

Our sessions will consist of some drills (socially distanced) to improve our korfball skills, then gameplay (this involves marking opponents but now has modified rules to improve safety) - everyone is welcome to either just do the drills, or do the gameplay too, or also start playing matches against other clubs.

Booking is now essential to make sure that we don't exceed numbers and have a track and trace register - newcomers can book to play for free at http://www.spond.com/landing/group/FBSOS and existing players can book at http://www.spond.com/landing/group/RAEKE (£5 PAYG)

Please only book a space if you are planning to come, and please cancel the space if you can't come, because we have a limit on numbers. Do not attend if you or any of your household have any Covid symptoms or if you have been asked to self-isolate. We do health screening at the start of the session, to keep everyone safe.

How to find us:
We are on "Netball Court 1". There is a one-way system so you go through the building to get to the courts. There is free parking at The Place Retail Park (where Currys and Starbucks are) and the purple or blue spaces in the council car parks are also free after 6pm.

We're also looking to restart kids sessions in spring 2021 - get in touch if you want us to keep you posted on that.

Looking forward to seeing you on court!
