We are looking to welcome all classic and interesting cars for a £5 voluntary contribution split between the rugby club to kick start Junior rugby next season and Willen Hospice, the clubs chosen charity.
The Plan
The cars will be parked on the clubs pitches, slightly further away from each other than a usual meet. You can bring the usual chairs and picnics but please use an off-pitch area so people can appreciate your pride and joy without getting too close.
The Social Distancing
The club is observing all government guidelines so we ask all our visitors to respect these rules.
The Toilets
The Clubhouse is currently closed, but each changing room has a couple of stalls. We have NO disabled access toilets available, but if you let us know in advance, we’ll work something out.
The Food
Depends on numbers attending, we will fire up the club BBQ and a drinks station but if the numbers get higher, we know enough food vendors to call in. And there is a Co-op a minutes’ walk away with a cashpoint.
The Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome at MKRUFC. On a lead around the cars please, we will have open areas for them to have a run. No water bowls but bring your own, there is a drinking water tap next to the entrance to the changing rooms.
The Kids (Yours)
We will try and keep some grass areas free for you to try and burn them out, bring a ball or a frisbee. There is a small recreational park for little kids to the side of pitch 1, but it is MK Council owned so you need to supervise them.
The Kids (Ours)
We’ll be inviting all our members to attend!
If you are interested, please email Dave Eddleston colts@mkrufc.com with year, make and model of your vehicle and he will send out the information.
We hope to see you there, and fingers crossed for good weather..!
