U12's Training Pays off with Win

The U12's battled back from 14-0 down after 2 quarters (It was rugby even if we adopted some American timings) with a try in the third and 2 in the 4th, the latter converted to record a narrow but well deserved win. Morgan, 2, D with 1 were the try scorers and Nathan got the conversion. Incredibly MK had a squad of 17 boys and 1 girl almost the same as R+H's 16 boys and 2 girls. Now that is a record for this team to get 18 players to a game. The four quarters lending themselves well to rotating the team around.
It was not just the try scoring that won it for MK as some valiant defending even on their own line prevented R+H on more than one occasion.

The U12's coaching staff post match interview from Andy head coach was summarised:
"Well done to all players, parents and coaches for a great win today. It was a team effort. I was really pleased with the intensity and the momentum we had particularly in the second half. The fruits of labour from everyone are now paying off and we're getting 18 to 19 players per week and competition for places is really strong."
