Milton Keynes Under 12s hit the heights with classy passing

Milton Keynes Under 12s welcomed Brackley to Emerson Valley on Sunday 1st November.
The game was split into 3 20 minute sessions and MK were able to give game time to nearly all the squad.

Session 1 - Stan Brooks, Adam Price, Taylor Weatherill, Ben Elwood, Marcus Robinson, JoJo Monaghan, Meach Power, Alix Reynolds, Noah Howard Birt, Sam Jefferson, Dan Fitton, Bradley Watson, Michael Robinson, Harris Irving

We started with a strong team and MK screamed out to a 4 try lead. Alix Reynolds blazed home for the first try. The second was a score made by the forwards with great continuity seeing Stanley Brooks crashing over for a really popular try. Number 3 came from the elusive running of Sam Jefferson. The lead was extended again with a superb try – multiple hands were involved and again the passing training paid great dividends as Meach Power rounded off to make it 20 0.

Brackley pulled one back with a great individual try, but MK hit back quickly, firstly Dan Fitton rounded off another fabulous passing move started by Noah Howard Birt and Sam Jefferson and then Taylor Weatherill created a superb turnover to see scrum half Joseph Monaghan snipe round the side of a the breakdown to make it 30-5.

The first third was finished off with a great solo effort from Meach Power to see MK lead 35-5.

MK made wholesale changes for the second session. Lending Brackley Alix Reynolds, Bradley Watson and Taylor Weatherill.
Session 2 - Stan Brooks, Adam Price, Dylan O’Neale, James Simpson, Harris Irving, JoJo Monaghan, Meach Power, Harry Pugh, Noah Howard Birt, Billy Hartwell , Dan Fitton, Sam Jefferson, Ben Elwood

The session was evenly contested and really well fought. MK were great around the breakdown, with Dylan, Adam, Stan and James all did well round the ruck and maul. Alix Reynolds pulled 2 tries back for the visitors, but Harris Irving scored a great solo try to make it 40-15. MK were denied a late try after JoJo sniped over from 5M.

Session 3 – Seb Illingworth, Luis Souza, Dylan O’Neale, Theo Taylor, Toby Sargent, Harry Pugh, Michael Robinson, Marcus Robinson, Nathan Searle, Nathan Smith, James Simpson, Billy Hartwell, Alix Reynolds

It was great to see MK continue to show and work extremely hard as a team. Both Nathan’s had great runs – the Robinson brothers continued to show there great potential. Alix Reynolds stretched the MK Lead to 50-15 with two good tries including a well worked move with lots of great hands. Toby, Dylan and James continued some great breakdown work. Brackley finished strongly with 3 late tries to leave the result 50-30 and a fantastic days rugby from both teams.
