Pre-Season Reflections:
“Yes, I’m really happy with the preparation overall. We’ve played the right teams, who’ve asked plenty of questions of us both defensively and offensively. I’m certain the club is in a much stronger position now than it was this time twelve months ago.
Unfortunately, we’ve lost a couple of players who decided to leave for one reason or another— but that’s football for you. The players we’ve brought in are a mix of youth and experience, and I think that’s vital considering how strong the league is.”

Transfer News:
“If the window closed tonight, I’d be really happy with the squad. As I mentioned, we’ve got experience all over the pitch, as well as young lads who are hungry and have a point to prove.
Keeping the majority of last year’s squad was my priority, and building around that—and we’ve managed to do that.
But if the right player becomes available, that’s something we’d definitely look at.”

New Players:
I’ve been really happy with how the new lads have settled into the group. They’ve integrated well off the pitch and they’ve started to show their quality on the pitch as pre season has gone on.

Friday Night Focus:
“It’s a really difficult tie, to be fair. I genuinely think Guilsfield away, on a Friday night, is as hard as they come! Gavin will have them organised, and he’s vastly experienced himself. I’m looking forward to seeing how we do on the night. We’ve prepared well, and we want to start the season on a positive note.”

Season Objectives:
“Listen, the amount of work the club has done over the summer has been incredible, and I want to thank everyone for that. The chairman and secretary in particular have been exceptional with me since I arrived at the club, so I want to repay their trust.

They’ve backed me as much as possible, and we—as management, players, and board—are all aligned. I hope that answers your question without giving too much away.”

Message to the Fans:
“I’d like to finish off by saying thank you to the supporters for their backing last season—you were our 12th man when we really needed you!

Hopefully, this year you’ll be down in your numbers again and we can keep pushing Mold Alex back to where we belong.”
