The FAW are launched Chwarae FOR HER: A week of football for women and girls in Wales. Chwarae FOR HER is a national celebration of women and girls’ football to showcase the power of the game and inspire women & girls. With Cymru qualifying for the UEFA Women’s EURO finals for the first time, the FAW wants to provide as many women and girls with the opportunity to play football and you can now find your local Chwarae FOR HER activation during the group stages of the tournament. At MKH Stadium, we hosted a taster session, a community football festival, or a girls-only kick about, Chwarae FOR HER is about opening doors to the game and celebrating its power to unite, empower and uplift.
