It's an honour to be Co chair of Mold RFC, over many years we have both had a long association with the club.
The biggest strength of the club is the people within it. It has much potential and if we pull together the club could achieve great things.
The outgoing trustees and committees have moved the club forward over the years, despite having many distractions and obstructions placed in their way. We thank them for their efforts and commitment, many of whom having given a colossal amount of time and effort into Mold RFC.
We all have family, work and lots of other commitments and therefore it will require a whole club effort to keep the club progressing.
Individuals who are willing to help out will be welcomed and encouraged, as we both believe in sharing the load, in order to maximise the potential. With well over 450 members we certainly have the knowledge and expertise to succeed.
Priorities have to be facilities and improvements to our accommodation. We still have some hurdles that need to be overcome, before we can begin to make any inroads into our priorities. These being initially the community asset transfer, the home bargains car parking issues, and the footpath access arrangements.
If anyone has the capacity, knowledge, contacts and expertise to help the club resolve the above issues, your efforts would be greatly appreciated. Grants and other monies will only be available once the above have been formalised and agreed.
We look forward to a successful club and season with an impressive team ethic, please come forward and help by being pro-active.
See you down the club.....
