Roselea made the trip to league leaders, Banks O Dee, on a wet and windy night in Aberdeen , with a depleted squad. Due to injury, suspension and covid issues, Eric Watson, Calum Watson, Fergus Alberts, Kieran Thomson, Ryan Taylor and Murray Soutar were all unavailable for selection.
Roselea lined up as follows: McCormack, Davidson, Stephen, Reoch, Mitchell, Bailey, McDonald, Beedie, Greig, Garnham, Jamieson, Substitutes: Gill, Robertson, Kennedy, Tweed.

The game was only 1 minute old when the home side opened the scoring. Henderson swung a cross from the right into the back post which was only half cleared and fell to Armstrong who drilled a low shot into the net. Roselea were struggling to adapt to the conditions but came to life in the 21st minute when Garnham played a great ball into Bailey but his shot from 20 yards went just wide.

With Roselea facing strong winds and rain, it was always going to be a difficult 2nd half for the visitors. ' Dee' doubled their lead in 58 minutes when a corner from the right was headed in at the back post by Henderson , unchallenged. Roselea were a little unfortunate to concede a 3rd goal in 66 minutes when a shot from MacLeod deflected off Mitchell and trundled into the net. Banks o Dee rounded off the scoring with 9 minutes left when Henderson fired a low cross in from the right which left MacLeod with an easy finish from 6 yards.

The result ensured that Banks o Dee clinched the league title and congratulations must go to them for securing the title with 5 games still to go. For Roselea, it was a night that they never quite adapted to the conditions and will be looking to get back to winning ways against Ellon United on Saturday.
