Following a pitch inspection carried out at 2pm today by local referee, Gareth Pearson, both home matches against Wetherby have had to be postponed. Thanks to Gareth for coming to the inspection which was organised by Chairman of Rugby, Mick Burton along with Chairman, Jamie Poyner.

Heavy snow last Sunday has been followed by long periods of freezing temperatures throughout the week. The snow still covers the car park, terraces and pitches. This is aggravated by thick areas of ice and a rock solid, frozen pitch.

Efforts are in hand to clear the drive and car parks to allow the clubhouse to be open on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening.

Football and Rugby will be televised on the multiple big screens for all those wishing to pop in for a chat and a drink.

Morley are away to Doncaster next Saturday, followed by a trip to Scarborough the following Saturday. The Wetherby match is likely to be replayed on February 8th but has yet to be confirmed by the league secretary.
