Over at Huddersfield today for a mini festival with two contact games and a touch game on the cards. We lost a couple of players to illness before we got there but still had a solid cohort of 18.

Morley played Huddersfield first in a contact game, coming away with the win 14-5. Two tries from Steph and two conversions from Ashleigh B.

The second game was touch, seeing us take on a barbarians opposition and giving some of the slightly broken players their opportunity to have a run out with their teammates. Morley saw off the opposition with a 6 tries to none to win with 2 tries from Amelia, 3 from Kirsty and 1 from Ruby.

The third and final game was contact again against a Burley/Glossop/Sheffield mash up. Despite being the last game of a very long day and the weather having worsened, Morley turned it up and put 33 points past the opposition and keeping them at nil. Amelia got over the whitewash 4 times and Laura T once with Ashleigh B converting them all.

9 wins from 9 games and undefeated in 2025. That’s some way to bow out of the year.
