Mel Charles died in hospital yesterday following a heart attack.

Mel came to play first team at Morley for a short period of time in the late 1970's before moving onto professional rugby.

His famous father and Leeds United legend, John, often came to watch him play.

Details of his funeral will be posted when they are known.
