We are sad to announce the death of former player Phil Ounsley who died following a heart attack whilst out climbing Pen-y-ghent.

Phil joined us in the mid 1990s having been recommended by Gary Dooley. He was a policeman from Huddersfield who mainly played in the backrow for the Cavaliers.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Funeral details will be posted when we receive them.
