Mortimer FC are pleased to announce that Stuart Plumridge will be taking the reigns once again at the club. Stuart will be in charge of 1st team duties for next season with Mike Hancock as his 2nd in command. Stuart knows the club well and we know him so it sits very well with what we are trying to achieve at the club. Mike knows the club and most of the people in it so shouldn’t be difficult for him to bed in.
We are also happy to announce that long standing member of the club Eddie MacKenzie will be managing the reserve side assisted by Mattie Eggleton. Both guys are Mortimer through and through. The club is looking forward to next season with great anticipation.
Work will be starting on the main pitch within the next couple of weeks, and barring any disasters should be in as good as nick as it was last season.
I would like to thank Mike Herbert for all the work and effort he put in last season, along with Nuno, Liam & Mike Davies.
Best wishes to Herbie, as he takes over at his new club.
Sundays will remain unchanged with Simon Bowyer as 1st team manager. Great season for Simon and the lads - Promotion to Sunday Premier league. Likewise for Big Dave and the Sunday reserves. Unbeaten in the league and champions. Great season.
