Another week. Another victory. Another three more points to the tally - meaning that a solitary point is all that is needed from the last four games to guarantee a return to the top flight - assuming Phoenix, Platini and Red Stripe manage to gain maximum points. In truth they beat ScHARR at a canter, and should easily have made double figures.

The match roared out of the starting blocks with Mould managing to set a new club record for the fastest goal scored. Within the opening 60 seconds COX had opened the scoring with a curling effort into the top right hand corner. A goal blitz threatened from the off.

However, this didn't materialise in the first fifteen minutes as chance after chance was squandered, despite some sublime build-up play. At the other end, the Master was once again a spectator, and easily dealt with the occasional long shot that spooned harlessly into his hands.

The avalanche arrived in the second fifteen minutes with DEANO blasting home, shortly followed by DUNKLEY opening his account with a precision shot into the bottom corner from some frankly shocking defending. DEANO then added another before KNIGHT deceived the ScHARR keeper with a dipping, swirling, bending, scuffed effort that bounced just in front of him Yorker-stylee.

ScHARR then snatched a goal back with the Mould rear-guard napping but the expected onslaught didn't arrive. Instead it was up to Mould to play out the match. In the end they only managed two more, but they could easily have had another ten. Some could argue the last two were the best of the bunch

From a ScHARR corner, Mould broke away and a lofted knock back from Deano found KNIGHT on the edge of the area with just the keeper to beat. In a scene reminiscent of the Gullit header from Euro 88 he nearly burst the back of the net with a "bullet" header to make it six.

And then with a few minutes to play, some alert play from DUNKLEY seized on a rebound from a Mould corner on the edge of the D. Carefully drawing the keeper, he dummied him and placed the ball into the opposite corner. Quality play.
