Mountain Ash Lunatic Fringe (MALF)
The MALF where founded in 2008 following a merger between our ever faithfull barmy army supporters club and the Kyber Lunatic Fringe. Together they have formed one of the most awe-inspiring regiments within the cricketing world. Fuelled by vasts amount of alcohol, cheap burgers and their love of cricket they continue to provide immense vocal support for the team. With numbers growing year by year and a tour looming in 2010 things are looking good for the MALF.

Following their success off the pitch the MALF's dreams came true on the pitch, when they where invited to play on the hallow turf of the caedrawnant in the inaugural MACC 6 a side tournament. Having secured the services of Alfie Roberts from MACC for an undisclosed fee, the MALF's dreams of clinching the title where becoming a reality. From the off, the MALF showed their intent with opening bowler Ritchie "Fidel" Edwards skitteling out MACC Skipper Owen Roberts for a mere 0 from the second delivery of the game! Following a celebration of organised chaos the MALF where pegged back by some big hitting and tactical strokeplay from their opponents. Up against the favourites the MALF where chasing a 64 run total from their allocated 5 overs. Again the MALF showed their intent from the off with Alfie Roberts & Ritchie "Fidel" Edwards at the crease they raced to 38 without loss, with Alfie having to retire at 25. "Fidel" was joined by younger brother Chris "The White Eddie Johnson", big hitting and more chaos ensued but the MALF fell just 11 runs short of their target.
